Who we are​

The SWLGR is a 501(c)3 corporation founded in 2024 by President and CEO, Alex D. Lee, Sr. of Alex Genealogy. Mr. Lee’s passion for preserving Louisiana culture and history inspired a call to action, to create an organization of a collective group of esteemed researchers and cultural preservationists who share a common goal: to find, locate, and preserve the rich histories of those who have familial roots in Southwest Louisiana.

Purpose
The purpose of SWLGR is to preserve the rich history of families and individuals who shaped the culture and development of the Southwest Louisiana community.
